Anaemia is a blood condition where there is either not enough blood, or the blood does not have enough iron in it. Iron in the blood is very important because it carries oxygen around the body, which keeps us alive.
Essentially, anaemia results in a lack of oxygen. Red blood cells carry oxygen around the body through a protein in them called hemoglobin. Either a lack of hemoglobin or a lack of blood can cause anaemia.
If you have anaemia you may feel tired, have bags under your eyes, feel lightheaded, have pale skin, or experience headaches.
Fulvic acid may gradually increase energy levels of those with anaemia by helping transport oxygen and electrons around the body.
One of the first known fulvic acid supplements was shilajit. Shilajit is a mineral deposit formed where sediment of soil and decaying flora was deposited and exposed to millions of years of geological processes – similar to the way coal or oil is formed.
Shilajit has been shown to be effective in the treatment of anemia. A study done in 2011 done on rats showed an increase of hemoglobin levels in rats that took 500 mg of shilajit daily for 10 days. In this paper the researchers found that shilajit in doses of Shilajit in doses of 500 mg/kg has anti-anaemic effects. These results are promising and we here at True Aeon are awaiting results from human trials.
Anaemics have a choice between plant or animal based iron supplements, high iron foods, or intramuscular iron injections to help remedy the anaemia. But sometimes these aren’t effective and sufferers have to find a different source.
Shilajit, and its active ingredient fulvic acid, is a proven alternative remedy to those suffering from anaemia, it is a natural (and plant-based) source that can be easily absorbed and used by the body. It is beneficial not just for anaemia but for many other conditions as well.
